Aim: To provide a friendly forum for the exchange of views and experiences between representatives of school alumni societies.
Membership: Open to representatives of any school alumni society. New members are always welcome. Details are available on the website – www.arops.org.uk – where you can also find information on events and member societies’ news, regularly updated. Please contact us by email: arops@arops.org.uk.
Meetings: The Conference in May is our main event and an ideal opportunity to meet up with other representatives and to share thoughts on current topics. Our very successful Conference in 2019 took place at Magdalen College School, Oxford.
The Conferences always end with a lively forum and a dinner. The 2020 Conference will be held at St Columba’s College, St Albans on Saturday 16th May 2020.
Apart from the Conference and the AGM (held in London in November), AROPS now organises a series of regional networking meetings around the country which allow representatives to meet neighbouring members in a less formal environment. These have proved very popular for members to discuss items concerning alumni engagement on an informal basis.
Subscription: £50 per year (with discounts for smaller societies). Please email the Treasurer, at arops@arops.org.uk including a name and telephone contact number along with your enquiry.
