RGS Surrey Hills, part of the Reigate Grammar School Family of Schools, is a co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 11–18, set in 26 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside. Courses offered. GCSE: Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, History, Business Studies, Computer Science, French, Spanish, Music, Arts Craft & Design, Drama, Dance, Physical Education, Design Technology. IB: Biology, Environmental Systems, Business and Management, Mathematics (AA & AI), Chemistry, Psychology, Economics, English Language & Literature, Visual Arts, Geography, History, Russian, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Physics. Other IB-approved languages available subject to demand. A level: Art, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, English, French, Further Mathematics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Media Studies, Physics, Psychology, Spanish. BTEC Sport can be taken alongside one A level.
Sport. Competitive fixtures in athletics, basketball, cricket, football, hockey, netball, rounders, rugby and tennis, plus a broad activities programme including dance, kickboxing, pilates, golf, swimming, volleyball, mountain biking and multi-gym.
Drama, Music and Art. A thriving creative arts programme including annual senior and junior productions (recently The Great Gatsby, The Addams Family, Wendy & Peter Pan), regular lunchtime recitals, rock bands, choir, and LAMDA coaching. Art students consistently achieve excellent grades and progress to leading art schools.
Fees per annum (2025–2026). Day from £27,162; Weekly Boarding from £39,810; Full Boarding from £42,204.
Scholarships and bursaries. Scholarships available at 11+, 13+ and Sixth Form for Academic, Art, Drama, Music and Sport. Bursaries are means-tested and follow the school’s Scholarships and Bursaries Policy.
Method of entry. Entry is based on interview, recent school report and entrance assessments. Sixth Form entry is based on interview, report and GCSE predictions. Virtual interviews available for international applicants. Main entry points are 11+, 13+ and 16+. Visits are warmly encouraged.
