Founded in 1845, Wrekin Prep (formerly known as The Old Hall School) is a co-educational day school (4–11 years), which is housed in spectacular premises, and is part of Wrekin College. The school offers first-class facilities: a double sports hall, 25-metre indoor swimming pool, an artificial playing surface and grass pitches offer an excellent sports and games environment, while specialist Music and Drama facilities help to promote high standards in the performing arts. A dedicated Art Room, Innovation Lab, Science Lab, library and IT Suite, as well as a suite of specialist learning support rooms, all reflect the School’s commitment to the needs of the individual.
The broad curriculum is enriched by a dedicated team of professionals who encourage pupils to fulfil their potential in a happy and secure environment.
Through the academic curriculum and caring pastoral system, the school aims to lay solid foundations in the development of well-motivated, confident and happy individuals who are always willing to give of their best on the road to high achievement.
