The School is fully co-educational and set in over 54 acres of private wooded estate and parkland. Our vision is to nurture happy, grounded and kind children, who are stretched but not stressed, and who leave the School with a zest for learning and for life.
We avoid a one-size-fits-all approach to education by offering strong, personalised academic learning in small classes, alongside outstanding pastoral care, which is provided by our experienced and dedicated group of staff.
Children in Years 7 and 8 complete the PSB assessment, and the school’s curriculum includes all the traditional subjects, with an emphasis on Music, Sport, Speech and Drama and Modern Languages. Senior School preparation and Study Skills are an important part of the senior pupils’ timetable and Information Technology is well resourced.
Academic and Sporting standards are high and there is a state-of-the-art Sports Centre with a 25 m indoor swimming pool and a full-size Astro pitch.
Charitable status. St Andrew’s School, part of The Bradfield Group, is a Registered Charity, number 309089. It exists to provide education for boys and girls.
