Founded in 1842, Sibford is a co-educational day and boarding school from Early Years to Sixth Form. Curriculum. Sibford offers a vibrant and varied curriculum enriched by a wealth of co-curricular activities, which encourages individuals to discover and follow their own path, whether it’s a traditional academic one, creative arts, technology or horticulture.
Junior School (age 3–11) offers a vibrant and varied education in a supportive environment where children can explore, question, and build a genuine love of learning.
Senior School (age 11–16), where your child grows in confidence. Sibford has always believed that a nurturing approach and a focus on holistic education create the best environment for pupils to thrive. Pupils benefit from small class sizes where dedicated teachers nurture, inspire and stretch them, encouraging them to discover and harness their own talents.
Sixth Form (age 16–18) is a close-knit community where young people are supported to explore their ambitions and define their own path. Students take A levels and/or BTECs. Staff ensure learning remains challenging and exciting, and programmes are tailored around students’ needs, helping them fulfil their potential.
International students are welcomed into the school community. The school has a specialist EAL department, with full boarding places available and short-term immersion stays welcomed.
Admissions process.  Once an application is received, children are invited to two taster days, taking part in lessons, activities and assessments.
Examinations offered. A level, GCSE, BTEC Diploma, Associated Board Music Examinations, LAMDA, Oxford and Cambridge IELTS Examinations.
Facilities. Set within a 50-acre campus in the Oxfordshire countryside, Sibford’s facilities include extensive sports fields for various outdoor activities, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a versatile sports hall, a multipurpose Astroturf suitable for tennis, netball and hockey, a specialist indoor climbing wall, a recently refurbished, state-of-the-art fitness suite and a newly built outdoor theatre.
Religion. Established as a Quaker school, Sibford welcomes pupils of all faiths, backgrounds and nationalities.
Fees per term (2025-2026). Full Boarders: £15,100–£15,403. Weekly Boarders: £11,467–£11,617. Flexi Boarding: £72 per night. Senior School Day Pupils: £7,769–£7,923. Junior School: Day Pupils £4,936–£5,975.
Scholarships and bursaries. Sibford offers talent scholarships in Art, Drama, Music and Sport as well as academic scholarships. A limited number of bursaries are offered to both Quaker and non-Quaker children.
Charitable status. Sibford School is a Registered Charity, number 1068256. It is a company limited by guarantee under number 3487651. It aims to give all pupils a vehicle to educational and personal success.
