Since 1958 Cambridge Tutors College (CTC) has been offering a very high quality academically focused education to young people from the United Kingdom and from across the world. Fundamental to the College’s ethos is small group teaching – our average class size is just over 5 students – and regular testing: students sit weekly tests in every subject, under examination conditions. This combination of small classes, regular testing and expert teaching has proved to be highly successful in giving students the motivation and confidence to succeed.
CTC offers: A Level courses (two-year and 18-month), NCUK International Foundation Year and an accelerated 6 month course, one-year GCSE course and a one-year pre-GCSE course. CTC also offers one and two-term pre-sessional courses linked to the two-year A Level programme.
The College’s most recent ISI Inspection reports in 2017 and 2020 were outstanding.
The college enjoys a particularly strong reputation for helping students to gain entry to the UK’s most prestigious universities.
Situated in a pleasant parkside location in South Croydon, CTC is just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, East Croydon station and bus and tram routes. It is close to Central London, just 15 minutes away by train, but surrounded by parkland and quiet residential streets.
Facilities and resources are modern and well-appointed. The College has excellent technological infrastructure with fast Wi-Fi, and there is an ambitious development programme in place.
The College’s welfare provision includes a team of trained professionals and all students have a personal tutor. A varied weekly programme of sporting and other activities is offered, as well as weekend excursions.
Charitable status. Cambridge Tutors Educational Trust Limited is a Registered Charity, number 312878.
