Highfield and Brookham School is a Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep School in Liphook for boys and girls aged 2–13, offering both day and boarding options. We are situated in the South Downs National Park on the borders of Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex.
At Highfield and Brookham, we provide a coherent academic journey right the way from Nursery through to Year 8. Children experience a dynamic, seamless and rich education based on experience and robust research delivered by passionate teachers in an inspirational setting. Our transformative approach empowers children to become critical thinkers, curious questioners and compassionate, creative contributors. Our education embraces change, diversity, and the progressing demands of the modern world.
Children are at heart of everything we do and every decision is made in their best interests. Our timetable is designed to ensure children are fully prepared for exams by providing plenty of time for the core subjects, as well as providing breadth and added value. Children at Highfield and Brookham develop a positive attitude, love learning and understand that mistakes are an important part of the process and encourage resilience and ambition.
We believe in the importance of developing essential skills that will support your child socially, increase their learning outcomes and enhance career opportunities. Highfield and Brookham look beyond the curriculum to skills that children can learn through sport, music, drama and art. There are over 50 extracurricular activities and sports on offer throughout the year which enable children to broaden their horizons and foster lifelong passions.
We take every aspect of pupil care very seriously, which is why keeping your child safe and ensuring they are happy at school are our biggest priorities. As the world is ever changing, children need to learn to adapt and change with it. We pride ourselves on our exceptional pastoral care, our integral learning support department and our first-class medical centre. These three elements are fundamental for ensuring every child is truly happy at Highfield and Brookham and we have no doubt that happy, healthy children are the best learners.
The school enjoys 175 acres of fields, sports pitches and woodlands. Children learn beyond the walls of the classroom every day as teachers take learning outside at every opportunity. Complementing the numerous natural playing fields, and providing all-year-round play, the school also benefits from a floodlit all-weather pitch.
We provide a supportive and collaborative process for parents to help them identify the right educational path for their child. We feed the very top senior schools, including Marlborough, Winchester, Radley, Sherborne School for Girls and Eton, and have an excellent scholarship success rate at 11+ and 13+ to schools such as Canford, Charterhouse, Cranleigh, Harrow and Wellington.
Choosing Highfield and Brookham, whether day or boarding, is your opportunity to make a positive impact on your child’s educational journey, ensuring they leave as a happy and well-rounded individual and ready to tackle the next stage of their learning journey.
