The Governors of Ludgrove are committed to broadening access to Ludgrove in order to ensure that, as far as possible, boys who would otherwise thrive here and be an asset to the school are not prevented from coming for financial reasons. To that end, limited funds are available on a means-tested basis to assist with school fees.
Such assistance is necessarily aimed at prospective parents but may exceptionally be provided to existing parents or guardians whose circumstances have materially changed.

Ludgrove is a thriving bi-weekly boarding boys prep school situated in 130 acres of beautiful grounds in Berkshire. It is a magical place to spend five years of childhood, where outstanding pastoral care lies at the heart of everything.
The principal aims of the school are for boys to grow and develop in a happy caring environment, to explore and expand their potential and to learn to develop an awareness and concern for others around them. We aim to prepare our boys to meet the demanding challenges they will experience at the next stage of their education, with confidence and good humour.
We are unashamedly ambitious for every boy and are proud of our strong academic record. In recent years, we have sent over 70% of boys on to Eton, Harrow and Radley, in addition to other distinguished public schools. The boys have a wealth of opportunities: a stimulating curriculum, exceptional facilities and a vibrant extracurricular programme with exposure to music, drama, sport and art.
Our extensive facilities include a stunning 350-seat theatre, a refurbished sports hall and well-stocked library. Opened in 2021, the state-of-the-art Exploration Centre provides one of the finest prep school scientific and creative learning environments in the country. These are in addition to the impressive 130 acres of grounds incorporating numerous games pitches, a 9-hole golf course, squash courts, fives courts, an astroturf, tennis courts, a 20 m indoor pool and adventure playground.
