Saint Christina’s was founded in 1949 by the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and is Catholic in its truest sense: universal, inclusive, and about the whole person. Academic ambition sits at the heart of our curriculum. It is both rich and rigorous, grounded in high standards and inspired by curiosity. Alongside strong foundations in English, Maths, and Science, children explore Philosophy, ethics and critical thinking through our P4C programme. They are taught not only to acquire knowledge, but to develop skills, and question, reason and engage deeply with the world around them.
We are known for our innovative STEM provision and the breadth of our Intellectual Curiosity Programme. Pupils have launched space probes, built and coded robots, and engineered their own F1-style cars for national competition. These are opportunities that stretch their thinking and expand their horizons.
Children throw themselves into school life. They compete with joy and determination in sport, perform confidently in choirs and productions, and embrace learning well beyond the classroom. Boys and girls are carefully prepared for entrance to leading some of the UK’s most prestigious day and boarding schools, with great care taken to support each individual on their journey.
